Nissan Terrano is a SUV car produced by the Japanese automaker Nissan from 1986 to 2006. The first two generations were built on the Nissan R platform, and the third generation was built on the Nissan Navara platform. The Terrano was introduced in Japan in October 1986 as a direct replacement for the larger Patrol/Safari SUV. It was available with either four-wheel drive or two-wheel drive, and a variety of engine choices ranging from 2. 4-litre petrol to 2.8-litre diesel.
