The Maruti Suzuki Celerio is a hatchback that was first launched in India in February 2014. The Celerio is based on the concept car developed by Suzuki Motor Corporation of Japan. It is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine is a 1.0-litre unit that produces 68 bhp and 90 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine is a 1. 0-litre unit that produces 66 bhp and 140 Nm of torque. The diesel engine is also available in an optional higher power output of 69 bhp, while the petrol engine can be upgraded to 82 bhp. The Celerio comes with a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT.
