The Hyundai Santro Xing is a compact car produced by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai. It was launched in India in October 2003 and was the country’s first ‘tall boy’ design. The Santro Xing was available with both petrol and diesel engines, and was one of the first cars in its segment to offer an automatic transmission option.
It was also one of the first cars in India to offer factory-fitted airbags and ABS. The Santro Xing was discontinued in India in November 2014, but continues to be sold in other markets as the Hyundai i10. In August 2012, Hyundai unveiled a facelift version of the Santro Xing.
